Pickle heaven and Jam delights.
Ruffy produce pickles, chutneys and jams are
all made in house with seasonal ingredients to Helen's own recipes. They are
brilliant additions to the Ruffy Store menu and can feature on your menu at home

cucumber
pickle These
are traditional bread and butter cucumbers -
perfect with, crusty bread and a vintage cheddar
cheese. Clean and crisp, cucumber with a tang
and a touch of turmeric. |
fennel
pickle Similar
to cucumber pickles but the anise flavour and
crunch of fennel adds another dimension.
Fantastic with fish, poached chicken and cheddar
cheese and, provides the right balance and and
contrast on a charcuterie platter. |
beetroot
chutney Just
brilliant with venison and game, and pretty good
with beef pies as well. Clean and fresh tasting
with that wonderful earthy beetroot flavour. |
rhubarb
chutney This
old recipe uses Di’s rhubard from Nagambie
together with currants, lemon, garlic and ginger
to create a rich flavoured, fruit chutney that
is fantastic with smoked lamb or beef, turkey,
cold pork and curry dishes. |
mint
chutney It
is sensational! The taste of mint just goes on
and on. This chutney is the perfect partner for
lamb dishes and tastes superb with Middle
Eastern, traditional or Mediterranean flavours. |
